In this month’s #stayhome special of (not so) “In the studio”, we have the one, the only, Krissy Georgiou!
Krissy is our Strategic Partnerships Manager and has been at VideoSmart for over three years. You can always count on her to brighten the office with her angelic voice, and loud stomping heels.
Now let’s get to it, tune in below to find out what she had to say about her new working from home routine.
It’s going ok, some days I find it tough but other days I enjoy the slower pace of life.
Living in London with social events every weekend often means there is little time to just relax – now is the perfect opportunity to catch up on tv shows and read books for hours, without the guilt.
For me, sticking to a routine has been key. I still wake up an hour or more before the working day begins.
Have my morning tea and oats like I usually would, write a list of my daily tasks and then get to work. I also make sure I get out of the house once a day for fresh air.
Surprisingly well, I panicked at first thinking I’d become a couch potato but there are so many live workouts online.
It’s funny how we just adapt and I am now quite enjoying working out from my ‘home gym’ aka my spare bedroom and going for long walks.
Last week I did the 5k Run for Heroes challenge, which gets you to run 5k and then donate £5 to charity to support the NHS and all of the key workers doing an amazing job at this time.
I haven’t ran for about 7 years but I enjoyed it so think it may become a new hobby of mine! I’ve also been baking a lot which I love.
Seeing my family, catching up with friends over many bottles of wine and booking a long holiday!
I love that no two days are the same and that I get the opportunity to meet so many people from all different industries.
It’s extremely rewarding to be able to come up with bespoke solutions for each and every client in order to help with some of the challenges they’re facing. It’s also refreshing to be part of a start-up where new ideas are always encouraged.
Ooo this changes with the season. At the moment, it’s a nice cold glass of rosé or a lychee martini.
I hate to have to say it but, Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain!
