Renault UK x VideoSmart – An Interactive Video Case Study
In July, VideoSmart partnered with Renault UK to deliver an interactive video that puts your mouse behind the digital wheel.
By utilising a dynamic and engaging format, the aim was to showcase Renault’s range of electrified vehicles and convert interest into sales.
The objectives
During our collaboration with the Renault UK team, we aimed to achieve two objectives with this campaign:
1. Educate customers on the different fuel types available, and
2. Help customers choose a vehicle that is most suited to their driving preferences and lifestyle.
The idea
Named, “Help Me Choose My Fuel”, the video asks customers a series of questions and their answers determine which fuel type is recommended to them at the end of the video.
The video targets visitors of the Renault UK website and sparks interest amongst prospective, or existing customers, who are curious about making the eco-friendly switch.
The solution
This campaign started with a few simple sketches which laid the foundation of a beautifully executed animation that was perfectly aligned with Renault’s brand.
Once the creative and workflow was complete, our development team worked together to implement a logic that ensured the various routes worked for each unique user journey.
This was achieved by combining animation with interactivity and utilising clickable CTAs throughout, in order to direct users to Renault’s chosen electrified landing pages.
